This object brings me happiness.

EN / Cricket is very important to me. My grandfather taught me how to
play. I started when I was six years old. When I arrived here, I wanted
to start up a cricket team. An assistant from the centre and me started
talking about this to the sports facilities centre in Ieper. They thought it
was a really good idea. At first I trained small children. It takes time to
build this thing, but now finally we have good material and a good place
to play. I hope we’ll have the chance to play with our team in Brussels.

NL / Cricket is erg belangrijk voor mij. Mijn grootvader leerde het me. Ik begon op zesjarige leeftijd. Toen ik hier aankwam, wou ik een cricket team beginnen. Een assistent van het centrum en ik, bespraken dit met de Ieperse sportdienst. Zij vonden dit een goed idee! In het begin trainde ik kleine kinderen. Het kost tijd om dit op te bouwen, maar eindelijk hebben we goed materiaal en een mooi terrein. Ik hoop de kans te krijgen om met ons team in Brussel te spelen.
